Restarting My Writing Career
I would have liked to make this post about the success I’ve had on Medium, writing 20 posts in the past five months. It just didn’t happen. A decent number of people have viewed my content and followed me. You deserve some follow-up. Good news, I’m going to be posting content weekly from now on. That’s the plan, anyhow. I’ll be interacting with authors on Medium and following back most of my followers, too.
Fortunately, nothing drastic happened that caused me to just drop off the grid after my first two posts. School started, I started watching upwards of 27 hours of YouTube weekly, and I really didn’t want to try and wedge content between the cracks of my everyday life.
Now, I’m ready to give this a serious go. I’ll be focusing on posts and pitching to Medium-based and external publications. Depending on how this year goes I may set up a weekly newsletter. Most of my writing will be personal life stories, with some experimentation until I settle into a niche I like. Settle in!
